MOVIEtube LT is the basic model. Since MOVIEtube has no moving parts and is purely an optical system the image quality and resolution of an MOVIEtube LT are exactly the same as that of the MOVIEtube ST model.
The MOVIEtube LT model is recommend for use on both 1/3” chip cameras with either fixed or interchangeable lenses.
The LT Model is supplied with a set of 15 mm bars, which can be moved backwards and forwards through the unit and its stand. The stand is independant from the main unit, acting like a bridge plate dose on larger cameras to aid balance. All MOVIEtube's are supplied PL mounted, with a range of other 35 mm lens adaptors also available. (See the Lens Mounts page for information).
The LT model is recommended for use on head and legs mounts and can also be easily used on a streadycam or other forms of personal body camera rig, crane or jib arm. The MOVIEtube ST model can be broken down, as MOVIEtube is a modular system to the same configuration as that of an LT model, with the added benefit of a breakout box for video feed back. (This will need to be powered by a 12v battery however). This is what is called an ST/Lite.
All MOVIEtube's are assembled in a clean room, so removing the inevitable problem of dirt or dust landing on the intermediate image. Docking is universal so no extra mounting parts or mechanisms are required for different cameras. The MOVIEtube's rear docking Achromat lens is protected by a rubber ocular ring, so avoiding the possibility of cameras lens and the MOVIEtube Achromat glass scratching each other.
